How can cookies turn out charred and smoking and still grossly smooshy?! Clearly there was something terribly incorrect about the instructions...

So, apparently, if you use too much rice making gumbo, you get a sort of... gelatinous gumbo cassarole. Still tasty, but blander than expected, and very very filling.
